He must be doing something right then since he's one of the 5 nominated for Dally M 2nd rower of the year. Other nominations are Bateman, Kenny Bromwich, Ryan Matterson & Sam Burgess.
yeah that's how i see mau this season, he got better as it went on. list is good though i would have cordner in there instead of burgess who has missed quite a few games with injury and suspension

I think Sam has probably played more games than Cordner this year who's also been injured a fair bit this season.
Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.

Did Pearson say that Ma'u was in the top 5 of NRL second rowers? 3 English lads that played tonight are better than him without even considering the ones in the other 2 clubs playing tomorrow and the rest in the other clubs.
I wouldn't rank him in the top 12.
Well it seems someone other than Pearson does Freddie, nominated in top 5 for Dally m second row. That'll do for me.

Dally M nominations above are based on the 2019 season. My ranking is based on his performances across all seasons played compared to other second rowers, so having watched him play in every match since he started in 2014 I stand by my opinion.

Surely you have to go on the current seasons form to determine how good a signing someone is? If were going on career form we may as well stick with Ellis.

I guess the important point here is that his form is going in the right direction

Remarkably similar stats. Sam has played one more game, but I'm still favouring cordner as he steered his team into the GF, but tight call between the 2
