Can’t wait for the fixtures to come out and get the trip booked. Love Toronto it’s a great city, look forward to breakfasts at Marche.
Unless it's an "on the road game". Home games in first couple of months of the season are to be played somewhere else, until the weather improves. So much for being a rugby league supporter.
Well it won't suit everyone and plenty are grumbling already, and I take on board the fixture stuff as well however they certainly know what they are doing media wise.
"In a major market that is home to over six million residents in the Greater Toronto Area and five much-loved major professional sports teams, the Wolfpack have still managed to receive over 700 million total media impressions in 2019. The Betfred Championship Grand Final was seen around the globe, reaching into over 500 million homes throughout major markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, France, Asia, India, Singapore and Hong Kong. Thanks to several exciting broadcast agreements, including with Canadian powerhouses Rogers Sportsnet and CBC, the Wolfpack are continuing to expand and the jump to Super League will serve to build their brand exponentially".

An amazing opportunity for super league Wilf, we have a foothold in a North American market, which could potentially bring Rugby league to millions of people, an expansionists dream, with possible untold marketing, and sponsorship deals worldwide.
And a nightmare for parochialists everywhere in Northern England, who will wonder how the xxxx we can make this work due to travelling and funding costs, it’s bad enough getting a coach to Wigan on a Thursday night
I’m with the former group, the adventurers, got my snow shoes ready and my Davy Crockett hat out the attic, having a brother who lives in Toronto is a big help as well.

Lovely stuff.
With such poor attendances for the play-offs I think that's a totem for interest in the top tier of our sport, endless repeats of "big" games of diminishing quality between 3 teams in a very small (10 mile?) radius with the odd incursion from Leeds. Featherstone gaining promotion instead of Toronto seems to have been the better option for the sport's future for some - beggars belief. Let's try something new - worst that can happen is we learn from it.
