I guess Radford will play Swift at HKR next week if fit.
Would have liked to have Connor at centre buts that unlikely to happen given Griffin had a good game today and its unlikely now he will be on the bench and may start at Leeds with Connor now on the bench.

I think the Reserves match has been cancelled. Just an under 18s game now and some small sided Scholarship games as far as I know.

yes i mentioned Griffin was strong today and he seems to have learnt that you also need to pass the ball rather than dying with it. You have to remember however we played a mid table Championship team.
Personally i would have had him start on the bench as a replacement second row and back cover but i think now Radford will start him and Fonua as the centres with Connor on the bench.
Whatever he does there will be some unhappy players.
Someone has mentioned that the reserve game at HKR has been cancelled.If thats the case then without a pre season game i cant see Swift or Bowden now in the team for Leeds which leaves a place on the bench for Savellio

Agree re Bowden and Swift as can’t see either of them making the team for Leeds unless we have an injury between now and game day. Neither have had any game time in the friendlies so think the backs will be Ratu, Faraimo, Fonua & Griffin/Carlos.
Wonder if we’ll see Connor start at 6 with Kelly on the bench?

Hull KR back-rower Dean Hadley is facing 12 weeks on the sidelines after dislocating his thumb

Another injury for Dean, and another for KR (they are doing it tough atm)
I wonder if these injuries are the reason for game at HKR has been cancelled?

was impressed with him, when he gets into the line he's looking to be creative, whereas with shaul the play can end up in a dead end street sometimes if he can't break through. also made a couple of decent breaks. the only problem was hull were so dominant he wasn't tested much with kicks, runners etc. also needs to position the defence in the right place - not saying he didnt do that but the line wasn't tested enough
