Agree with Bonaire that if Fonua doesn't play after playing some part in the latter stages of pre season then Houghton, Swift nor Bowden will be in the 17 for Leeds following the same logic. I wonder if there may be a little kidology going on with news about Fonua?

At least we will know soon enough

Nevertheless, given Fonua arrived late to pre-season training, head coach Lee Radford isn’t particularly concerned by his slow progress, insisting he will still be in contention to feature at Headingley.

Because he arrived 3 weeks late for pre-season, and has played around 60 minutes rugby in the last 9 months after a serious foot injury.
