How to raise funds for the Club : Sun Apr 26, 2020 7:27 pm
A simple one off lottery which the club could offer with the help from sponsors either donation or at cost. Minstergate (small car) Jacuzzi (family hot tub) Andrew Earle ( Holiday for two)
First prize the car, second prize the hot tub and third prize the Holiday
Simple to set up
All the club have to do is set up a page on their website for the purchase of a ticket rather than an item of sportswear.
After payment the club send a ticket number to the person who has paid.
The draw to be made at half time at a future home game.
As this is a fund raiser for the club suggest a ticket price of £25.
Will need a bit of marketing and advertising with HDM and Radio Humberside but could be done quickly

Well considering Minstergate aren't selling cars and nobody is booking holidays I very mich doubt gifting things to FC for a raffle is high on the business priority lisf.

Wanting to gift the club money is laudable, but the priority list for most has very many thinhs much higher up it.

Just throwing this out there, apart from being able to watch home games free on their Club TV, season Ticket holders are going to be losing out. Instead of a refund or discounted Season Tickets next season, why don't the supporters than can afford it offer to pay full price and the club throw in a new team shirt or £50 voucher for the shop? I know times are hard but there must be a few willing to fork out for their club.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

... if the take up is high, it just drastically reduces income for next year (if there is one).

Who runs the supporters group?
Is there one?
If there is can they setup a fans donation fund?

Quick google brings up fcvoices@hullfc.com

Im thinking FC voices set a supporters fund up, and post links in online forums and facebook groups, possibly the official fc page and people just donate what they can when they can.

There is this on the Hull FC web site:

Vice Presidents Association

The Hull FC Vice President Association formed in the days of The Boulevard to help the club during more troubled times and continue to support the Black & Whites today.

The association is made up of a group of like-minded fans focused on fundraising activity their own financial contributions to benefit Hull FC.

Over many years, their investment into the infrastructure and playing squad has ensured the Black & Whites position at the top of our sport, which continued in 2018 with player sponsorship of Brad Fash.

Recently, their fundraising has helped contribute to new training equipment and facilities, whilst they also helped fund the recent fan park as part of the club’s popular Hull&Proud Week.

They also arrange annual dinners and events, as well as being present on match days as Gold Members and Lifetime Members of the club.

Association members include the likes of Olga Waudby, the wife of late former chairman Roy Waudby, who made a significant contribution to the club.

The group meet regularly and are joined by representatives of the club to discuss various matters.
