Really hope this isn't self inflicted. It could have been caught at the game - Salford results etc will shed light on how it got in.

Really sad for the game & it seems our rules just ain't robust enough. NRL been going 8 weeks with hardly any cases - Super League can't manage 1 week with one entire squad out of action.

Track & trace team will be spreading joy to many sadly.

Do we know which players affected ? Hopefully all suffering minor symptons, if any.

Haven't you heard?
It's all about the economy, apparently.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

someone on the VT has pointed out Hull has low levels of infection but West Yorkshire has a lot higher. A lot of our players are West Yorkshire based, and im not sure if they have been car sharing during the crisis. Again we will never know the answer but could be a reason.

Are they, only Ellis and maybe Connor and Sneyd spring to mind.

Sneyd lives West Hull village. At least he did last season.

Sneyd lives in Brough.
Connor in Huddersfield
Ellis in Wetherby
Josh Jones in the North-West I believe

How do we know that we haven't caught this from a Salford player, they inhabit an area of the country with local lockdowns in place due to the number of cases, whereas we are in an area with very low infections (albeit they could be untested like the majority of the country)

The problem for me lies in the fact we are only testing weekly. It should be daily. Player A tests negative on Monday. Comes to training on Tuesday and tests positive. He is then sent home for 2 weeks to isolate before he has contact with any other players or coach. It had to be this way. We can't expect our players to be in an isolation bubble, apart from stating they travel to training and home. Their partners work, do the school/nursery run etc. So the least we can do as a sport is test daily. It looks cheap and amateurish

Worrying for everyone and beyond club rivalries.
Wait for the facts before assuming someone must be to blame. If someone has done similar to that Celtic player then I'm sure it will soon be found out but jumping to that conclusion now isn't helpful. Nothing but solidarity with FC on this.

Good man.

They think it has come from a players new born baby while in hospital. That player had some treatment off the physio and its escalated to others.
