someone on the VT has pointed out Hull has low levels of infection but West Yorkshire has a lot higher. A lot of our players are West Yorkshire based, and im not sure if they have been car sharing during the crisis. Again we will never know the answer but could be a reason.

You’re right I’m largely guessing but someone has obviously been within two metres of someone else who’s had the virus. With the way players at plenty of clubs are willingly going out to bars and football stadiums with thousands celebrating I can bet someone’s been out on the p*ss. There’ll be plenty of more positive cases until clubs and the RFL take a much tougher stance and issue big fines to players responsible. It shouldn’t be hard for players to follow guidelines and steer clear of social events for three months.

could also have caught it from touching sweaty training gear whilst training...hard to keep a 2 metres whilst doing so...someone could carry the virus without symptons too, a family member even

stolen from the VT:

"Hull FC and Salford used the main RL changing rooms, which were extensively cleaned whilst the Wakefield v Wigan game was on. Wakefield and Wigan used the south stand changing rooms. Leeds and St Helens then used the main changing rooms"

So Leeds and Saints may need an extra test then. Suddenly playing at one venue doesnt seem such a bright idea. Had this game been at the KCOM or AJBell only Hull and Salford would be at risk not 6 teams.

I suppose we could look on the bright side, something positive came out of that performance!

seriously, I hope all the players and coaches are well. I suspect if most of us got tested we would have, or have had Covid. It seems to be a bit like testing for Flu or a cold, but we don't do those tests.

Strange how there are no other test results for any other club?

What guidelines? the one where the government are encouraging everyone to go out to restaurants and bars?

surely Sundays game is off, from a competition point of view we are 6 players down, and if I was a Cas player or coach or the Ref I wouldent want to be anywhere near the FC squad that soon.

Neither do some fans either.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

A big well done to the idiot (or idiots) who broke the guidelines/protocol.

Couldn't possibly be a another member of a players' family who caught it ?

Rarely venture here but feel obliged to wish them all well..
Worrying for everyone and beyond club rivalries.
Wait for the facts before assuming someone must be to blame. If someone has done similar to that Celtic player then I'm sure it will soon be found out but jumping to that conclusion now isn't helpful. Nothing but solidarity with FC on this.
