Presumably the Hospital concerned will have gone into lockdown I wonder if it is local. Hope all the players and staff recover quickly.

You mean Peter Thornley, a staged act in a staged sport that makes millions from gullible Americans?

They are not comparable, in any shape, sense or form. You'll be saying 'intestinal fortitude' next Mr McMahon! and telling us that Stacey is really your daughter!

And i know you were joking, if it wasn't for all the blumin adverts on here I wouldn't need to keep editing.

Maybe it was not such a good decision to play three games back to back in one stadium. i understand Headingly has numerous changing facilities but all the teams come out the same tunnel, subs sit in the same areas and cross contamination is more of a risk. Separate stadiums would have allowed better social distancing.

Hope the infected players recover ok and their families or ok.

No
what i am saying is that we all should take note that a mask is or will be available that has been tested in the EU and certified that it will inactivate/kill Covid 19 on contact.
Unfortunately wearing masks in public places is going to be with us for many months and if stadiums are to opened for football and R/L in the coming months there are lots of people out there who need some confidence to start attending games.
Wearing a mask proven to inactivate Covid 19 as well as other virus will certainly be a confidence boost for many people

How do we know that we haven't caught this from a Salford player, they inhabit an area of the country with local lockdowns in place due to the number of cases, whereas we are in an area with very low infections (albeit they could be untested like the majority of the country)

The problem for me lies in the fact we are only testing weekly. It should be daily. Player A tests negative on Monday. Comes to training on Tuesday and tests positive. He is then sent home for 2 weeks to isolate before he has contact with any other players or coach. It had to be this way. We can't expect our players to be in an isolation bubble, apart from stating they travel to training and home. Their partners work, do the school/nursery run etc. So the least we can do as a sport is test daily. It looks cheap and amateurish

Go on please explain how a Virus that has infected Six players and two staff members of THE Same team
But not the opposite team ? I'd suggest the Garden Party held by YOUR Players is probably the Cause,Also the player who arrived at Headingley showing signs of Covid-19 and taken straight to hospital was a Hull FC Player.

as comebacks go, that is up there!

I always liked Jake the Snake and The Bushwhackers, Undertaker is a legend of my youth, the great Man Hulk Hogan was only ever eclipsed by André the Giant, and the Rock Johnson made $65m last year. we will never know what really happened to The British Bulldong, Im trying to recall the name of the guy who always climbed the rope. And Steve Austin is still making $'s, I could go on forever, sling in John Cena, the list is endless, athletes and entertainers.!
