well if nothing else he is certainly a student of the science of sport and training methods and obviously respected a bit with the clubs and international teams he has been allowed to shadow. .

Impressive and articulate first interview IMO. If nothing else he will bring self confidence and energy with a commitment to raising standards across the board as well as strengthening the squad. As you say interesting that he has spent time in France and also with Eddie Jones understanding his winning culture - this appetite to take broad perspectives and learn from others I imagine has been a key factor in his appointment.

Are you coming round a bit more now

Until we see the bloke's team on the field he's an unknown quantity as was Holbrook and Mcguire, he could well end up being a Stone or Furner too.
He seems well respected and studious, I'm excited for the new season for the first time in a while.

I hope Brett is house hunting in the area, as commuting, like others have stated, is a problem :D

Came across really well in his first press conference.

Signing a 6 looks to be a priority, I'd imagine/hope this will happen sooner rather than later.

Also looking for another middle and utility back.

Sounds like Connor will be full back, it'll be great for him to work with Brett, hopefully he can get the best out of him.

There's a house on Sutton Park near me that's just gone up for sale he might be interested in. Great location 5 minutes from Bransholme Centre and even better Fordyke is re-opening soon.

Ha ha, I’ve had many a good night in Fordyke, we should of got Josh Jones in for a few, he’d of settled down nice, after all that Lancashire rubbish beer.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

A different style of interviews, the one earlier by an obvious Hull fan.

This one by Gwylum, needed careful reflection, as Gwil tossed a few grenades in, thought Brett was professional in his replies, and very composed.
