“Sneyd got a dead leg on it two weeks ago and he got another knock on it last week,” the head coach added. “We tried our best to get him through for this week but he just wasn’t fit enough and it was too risky going into this game.

“If something would have happened, with the next couple of weeks we thought it best not to push that.

“Manu Ma’u has a got a tight calf, we’ll have to get that scanned to see how it is. Apart from that everyone got through OK.”

Hopefully Sao will be back next week if Ma'u doesn't make it then. 8 day turnaround at least.

Thought Cator and Johnstone had good games, hopefully Sneyd is back next week, if not a reshuffle is needed as Houghton should be in the halfs

Agree about Fonua , Still looks half the player from his first stint at the club , Swift & Faraimo should start next week .
