Not at our best, but massive effort, no trys conceded from them breaking our line, only a kick and two when we have the ball. Wakey probably the better side.

Didnt get alot from the ref, only one set re start they must have had at least 6, plus penalty count in their favour.

Thought Taylor and Carlos were immense.

result over performance tonight, hopefully the sky commentary team listened to Hodgson' interview after finishing fawning over wakefield!

Wakefield look a poor team, and they have done for a while now. They have only won 9 of their last 40, and one of those wins was scraping past Bradford in the cup. On top of that their most dangerous player (Johnstone) will be missing. Anything other than a routine win would be a disappointing result.

There last try shouldn't have stood either, Lino was offside at the play of the ball, no idea why the video ref didnt check it

Its 2 points that matters but a lot for Hodgson to think about
No flair,too many errors and poor discipline again
lost another front row for a long period which is not what we needed
Have to make a change at half back against Wigan to create something in attack against probably the best team in S/L
The myth of Jake Connor at full back has now been erased but we cant move him now into the halves for a couple of hard games against Wigan as
Connor Wynne has gone out on loan so it will have to be Tuimavave.

Big effort in defence again, while the ref was crap sometimes making it up as he went on.
It's our decision making that's got to be abit sharper, as any slightest infringement we seem to get crucified for it, whereas the opposition don't, there's zero consistency with these refs.

I thought when we get the ball quickly to McNamara who then finds Connor we do look dangerous it created two of our try's. For me Mcnamaras growing into the role , with his teammates trusting him more tonight. I knock Houghton at times but thought he was a lot better than Johnstone tonight, calmed us down.

We're definatley a work in progress, i think we l have a solid season, I'm very intrigued to see us after some proper Hodgson recruitment though, as I feel a few of our players have some bad habits that resurface and at times cost us.
