IF! If, he has been judged to have committed an act of foul play. The fact that he is injured shouldn't have a baring on any suspension.

Makinson looked aggrieved in the first half with a tackle involving Josh, so guess it was something to do with that.

It might seem harsh, but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Opponent is dropping in the tackle. Contact is head to arm. No swinging motion in the tackle.

The other interesting decision is regarding Savelio. He was referred for an alleged shoulder charge. The decision was that there was no shoulder charge but the on field decision of a penalty was sufficient. That makes no sense at all but confirms my own view that Saints got the the rub of the green regarding the refs decisions and which left Hull chasing the game.

No, apparently he’s been banned, because he opted for anaesthetic, rather than the slug of red eye Wilkin was administered after his giant bandage on his nose fell off.

If it's the one I'm thinking of it was a clear attempted shoulder charge.

But my point is the Panel are saying there was no shoulder charge but it was appropriate to award a penalty. Utterly contradictory.
