Why? Which of Mr Pearson’s proposals are you thinking of.

The phrase "smoke and mirrors" has entered common English use to refer to any proposal that, when examined closely, proves to be an illusion.
keeping things close to FC and Pearson without going public. Think there will be a lot of wheeling and dealing going on behind closed doors . Only my opinion

You have to ask why?
The fans are the clubs main asset yet we are kept in the dark, even Griffin extending his contract was only just recently announced when it was general knowledge, the same with Satae the confirmation was held back.
Now we have this ridiculous situation with McNamara. Not that his signing or not signing matters much to most fans but when we now have the coach coming out with such comments it makes you wonder who controls the PR at the club because its extremely poor.
The club is in a deep hole now with regard to recruitment and we all realise they have to try and move some players on in order to add to the squad but Hodgson has stated all along we need another front row so i would have assumed given we have known for months we have one available overseas spot it would be used and a signing already made but yet again when the fans need some good news to keep an interest we hear nothing.
Might help if they confirmed Sao and Mau had extended their contracts that is if they have

Really pleased for them but why the cryptic comments by Hodgson. Had us spinning all sorts.

Well happy with Brown and Wynne. Not fussed about Mac on what I've seen.

Good news to tie down these 3 in addition to Griffin. Pretty happy with the backline for next year, and some positive churn elsewhere in the squad if what I hear is correct. Only 5 weeks until pre season. Hope springs eternal.

Glad with the re-signings. Hoping we can develop Wynne to fulfill his potential.

Glad to get the 3 lads tied down.

In an ideal world we could sing a third half option and let Ben McNamara develop in the academy or out on loan at a lower league club

Wynne has a meniscus injury, which might explain the 1 year deal?

I think this is the injury that kept Masi out pretty much all year.
