I don't mind that 1st 17, but for us to improve we really need to extract better value from the likes of Reynolds & Taylor, and we only really have homegrown beyond it.

If it's a choice between Leeson Ah Mau or Kane Evans to fill a prop spot then I would hope it's the latter.
Don't think either would blow us away but Ah Mau is a bit of a plodder and looks about shot from what I've seen of him.
At least Evans has the physique, and at a couple of years younger, doesn't mind mixing it up a bit.

Mrs B's XVII would offer us a chance of pushing the top four but as always it will come down to injuries.

This year Connor missed a quarter of the season, Reynolds and Cator even more, Griffin half the season, Taylor two thirds and obviously Shaul only appeared towards the end of the season. Similar in 2022 will likely yield similar results.

Wardle has been mentioned in the press. He would offer cover in the back row and centre.

At least 1 prop, 2 if we can offload Bowden.

Some half cover too. We missed Connor and Reynolds for chunks of the season. Sneyd struggled for form and McNamara needs time to develop.

I'd like the Peats - Ma'u thing to happen, but if Manu has signed his new deal keep the backrow the same as this year with Houghton on the bench

Absolutely, even if he was on 20k a year, it’s a total waste, we need better.

Too slow at 1,6 and 7, need some pace, although Shaul isnt the answer.
