Did I say a straight swap ? Still looking on this forum I see …

Shaul for Lino suggests a straight swap. You should write what you mean. Let me congratulate you on your perception.

Snooping? What a strange attitude to an open forum you have.

If this happens it probably spells the end of Flanagan at the doggies

I think we have both expressed opinions on Flanagan, previously. For me he would not improve the team, he has no authority about his game, every time I've seen him this year, he's looked nervous and he panics with ball in hand. Certainly not what we want and we released a far better player, in Sneyd. I'd take Lino, think he has some potential, if a swap for Shaul could be negotiated that would work for us, but I doubt very much that Wakefield would entertain that notion. There looks to be a lot of movement in the NRL, and some good players are out of contract. The problem is that, an average NRL player, would probably attract marque wages and even playing reserve rugby as a first team standi in is more lucrative than a starting berth in SL.

He wouldn't be my pick but if he's on his way out of Canterbury and we need a replacement for Connor he could be seen as an option.

Plus we've been linked with him previously.

Lots of straw clutching admittedly

I'd be very disappointed if Connor left and we replaced him with Walker, if Connor goes I'd rather get a decent 6/7 and play Hoy 1

The thing about picking up someone like Flanagan is that the Bulldogs might subsidise some of the salary

Even if Connor stays, I would still expect Hoy to play 1 next season.
