2023 Pre-Season Friendlies - Superleague Clubs It´s going to be a busy few weeks before the start of the Superleague season on the 16th February when the Warrington Wolves start the season with a home game against the Leeds Rhinos in front of the SKY TV cameras as both sides look to get their season´s off to the best of starts. Between now and then there are plenty of pre-season friendly matches and warm-up games to keep you interested and get you in the mood for what should be a fantastic 2023 season. While St Helens are the favourites to retain their trophy there are plenty of sides who are being widely backed and experiencing shortening odds with the bookies. we are the only superleague club who are not playing at least 1 friendly at home,still the annual farce of going at least 6 weeks in the height of summer with no home games and no a team games or training at the stadium,so much for improving relations with the smc.what a joke.sort it out pearson.

I wouldn't mind going to a preseason game at home, but I don't really see it as an issue if its more commercially viable for the club to play them away.

On the gap in summer, It doesn't look any worse than Wigan and Hudds whi both share grounds.

Looking forward to the games anyway. Not sure what to expect, will it be a night and day difference to how we used to play straightaway, or will it be more noticeable as the season progresses?

Hopefully the friendlies will go on FC Live for those, like me, who can't attend.

What do you call "the height of summer"?

We play at home once in June (potentially another one in the Cup), twice in July and twice in August.
