If Houghton still out reckon for Sunday it’ll be something along the lines of

Walker
Martin
Okunbor
McIntosh
Barron
Smith
Hoy
Ashworth
N Brown
J Brown
Staveley
Sao
Lane

Balmforth
Gardiner
Laidlaw/Diakhate
Severs

If Houghton cleared to play I’d possibly be tempted to have him or Nu at 13 and go with Ligi in front row.

Okunbor more likely to be on the wing than centre, it looks like he's never played centre in his career, either first grade or reserve grade.

Im not saying we would have won last Friday but we might have had we not run out of steam short handed. But once Brown had gone we were never going to win. That can't be undone but I've read twice now that the referee was advised by the 'Bunker', so I agree there should be a deal of accountability admitted to, but as usual they weasel out of it and admit nothing. Most people in the game darn't say anything for fear of repercussions. As the games biggest assets I think the players deserve a say in all this, so I for one welcome them getting organised into some sort of structure to represent their interests. For too long year on year season on season the RFL have blighted our game with strange and sometimes ridiculous directives (that deflect from all the great attributes to our game out on the pitch), of which this is just the latest.

I sort of get why Sutcliffe has been banned, but when you watch closely the ref is running into his line. If the Wire player passes to his right Sutcliffe would've had a fighting chance of getting to them. Sutcliffe would have to anticipate this. Its an accidental coming together so two games is very harsh. would like to see them appeal.

Dont agree with what you say
seen the incident,re run several times.Problem was the ref seemed faster than Sutcliffe when following the attack and in reality when running back Sutcliffe should have had the pace to get in front of him.

Not sure I agree, having watched it plenty of times now it look to me as though Griffith stumbles either by loss of his footing in the very wet surface or when you watch his movement and right leg it looks to me that he moves to the right and actually clips his legs with Sutcliffe who does seem to try and react to grab him.

The speed at which Griffith is running in relation to Sutcliffe for me is no issue but you have to ask why a referee would take up the position of running directly in the attacking line of the Warrington players rather then being slightly behind the play. Had the ball reached the nearest Warrington player, Griffiths would have been a line blocker for them. As I said in a previous post it just shows how poor the standard and lack of understanding of the game the official has.

If Griffith or even Moore as the VR had deemed Sutcliffe had made intentional contact with the ref he would more than likely have been carded at the time. For the MRP to say it was deliberate and intentional is a stretch as they can not ascertain that at all and this is the problem with the way they operate.

My only problem with the Sutcliffe incident is that he didn’t drop the shoulder a little more. If you’re going to do something at least do it properly.

The ref slowed down at the moment Sutcliffe wanted to change angle. Sutcliffe had enough time to be aware of this but seemed to push him over out of frustration. This situation happens all the time when players are chasing back but avoid contact with the ref.

If it wasn't for the furore surrounding Brown much more would have been made of this.

Very, I'd imagine this would be the first game London would target as winnable especially given our absentees, we need to be on it from the get go and put in a professional performance. Any repeat of the ill discipline from the first 2 games (Brown's joke sending off aside) then we'll likely come unstuck. I can't imagine Griffiths or whoever the video ref was on Friday will be making an appearance over here anytime soon.

Talking of officials you have to wonder whilst we may be guilty of ill discipline have we created ourselves as more of a target?

Still think with the performance and effort shown at Warrington that we have enough to be able to get on the board on Sunday against London, though I don’t expect it to easy if straight forward.

Keeping our discipline will be more important ever on Sunday.
