Solid defender is Zak and gives 110%, put apart from grunt his attack is shocking - in all his time at Leigh I can barely remember him setting up his winger

Your taking quite a risk with Asiata, who is class when he’s on the field, in Zak you get solid but unspectacular

Is every player a risk?

Played 28 games last season
32 the year before.

OK he has an injury now which has kept him out for most the season, but what players hasn't missed a few games with injury. His history suggests he has a pretty good injury record.

Ipapa has played two games this year, would he be a risky signing too?

We been linked with Hardaker for about 5 years, ability wise he is ok, but factor in character and age, its got to be a no from me.

Not even sure about the ability now, after watching Hoy run over the top of him to score a try.

Culture was a Smith buzzword, yes it matters but getting a bunch of players with the right ingredients who will work for each other is more important. I'd take Hardaker for a year just like we have Briscoe - both are short term fixes that would take us to mid table, something we can only dream of right now

Asiata missed the end of last season with a torn hamstring

Played one game and 10 mins this season then 7? Out with a torn calf

Played 15 mins against Cats then appears to be out for another 6 weeks - rumoured to be hamstring again

Every player has injuries, IPape has come back from a one off injury and looked strong

Really hope it works out for you and him, he’s inspirational both on and off the pitch - Leigh thought medically he had a good 12 months in him, you see it differently, genuinely hope your right -RL needs a strong competitive Hull side

Myler has used the word 'identity' which is basically the same. Agree both Hardaker and Briscoe are short term fixes but I'd rather go and get another centre other than Zak.

Hardaker causes problems at every club he's at, worst being him costing Cas the grand final, and is not a good role model for younger players / fans...sort of signing we should be avoiding if we want to build a good culture at the club

Is this just because someone put on Facebook as a joke they saw Hardaker in some car park?
