Agree with what's been said already. A good deal for both club and player. Tom is the ultimate professional on and off the pitch and will bring some much needed experience too.

I like the idea of Brisc back, not for sentimentaity reasons but because he will bring a steady and calming influence. A great pro and a wealth of experience, just what we need.

My signing targets would be

Partington ( Loose, Salford)
Stone (Back Row, Salford - Quota)
Innes Senior ( Winger, Hudds)
Umyla Hanley (Winger, Leigh)
Ben Davies (centre, st Helens)
Sam Royle (back row, St Helens)
Matty Storton ( Prop, rovers)

Then we have 2 quota spots for NRL:
- Scrum half
- Hooker

This is assuming Davies, Mcmeeken, & Johnstone are signed elsewhere. I’d not be against Oli Russell signing.

Briscoe will bring some much needed experience to the squad. As RockNRolla says above, that will be both on and off the field. Could be a smart move and hopefully the youngsters can learn and absorb from him.

Mixed feelings on McIntosh. Not the most immediate player I would be looking to get rid of as I think he gives his all every week. But we definitely need to start improving the quality of the team.

Chamberlain added, gives our backline alot more experience. Both played in the cup final win last year.

Hopefully add a halfback and a backrower.

As someone who has spoken up for Mcintosh on many occasions I will be sorry to see him go.

However, I do feel that it’s probably best all round for him to have a fresh start somewhere else?

Still feel there is a decent player there but he is very much a confidence player and suffered more than most from the state of the club and the mess the team has been in.

Be interesting to see how he performs in a new environment. Good luck to him!

Another Peters has fallen out with apparently. Got told he was offered to Leeds and Hudds yesterday.

Leeds need another middle pretty desperately

Meat man hinting at two Joshs signing (one ex player)

Probably Drinkwater and Griffin, again both short term and improve us.
