Adam Sandells is 5 years old and along with his brother Michael and a number of Storm players, attends St Peters Primary School, Newton-le-Willows. In May 2007 Adam was diagnosed with a rare form of childrens cancer, Neuroblastoma. He went through 14 months of treatment and in July 2008 was given the all clear. However, in October of last year, Adam relapsed and the Neuroblastoma cancer has unfortunately come back. He is currently undergoing further treatment to see how his cancer reacts to the chemotherapy given to him in this country but there may be a possibility that Adam needs to travel abroad for further treatment. The 2Simple Trust (reg. charity no.1113954) raises money to help children with Neuroblastoma travel abroad to receive pioneering treatment. Adam is one of the children supported by the 2Simple Trust and we are now raising funds for the Trust. The Trust welcomes general donations, and donations to specific appeals (these can be found at www.2SimpleTrust.org.uk) including The Adam Sandells Appeal. We have now launched The Adam Sandells Appeal and we require any fundraising suggestions, people who would like to organise sponsored events, people who would like to take part in sponsored events, monetary donations and gift donations for future fund raising events. |
