Bang on Gary!! If Mr Winter is putting the clubs interests first then all money generated should go to the club. Not a large percentage into his own pocket.

There seems to be a reasonably positive feeling about the meeting on Tues eve.
Then, however in true Dons fashion our of the woodwork comes the report of not only Winters interest but Carl Halls potential group.
My advice-
Go full steam ahead with the formation of the Trust and ignore any 'rumours' of interest in the club.Weve heard of Winters interest for some while now without action and any individual involved in previous shambolic attempts at managing the club should be treated with caution.
Only then will you be 100% guaranteed that the people in charge have 100% the clubs interest at heart.
In my experience rumours usually remain as rumours-its action that is needed and the 'potential trust' members are by far and away the best option for the club as its them who live for the club and will run it for the clubs long term benefit without the ridiculous false dawns the club has experienced with differing people using the Dons as a plaything to be used for THEIR interests alone.
I hope that the formation of the Trust becomes a reality.

This I did not know ! It’s obvious that he would have to be paid from some where and has he actually stated he wants 50% of all money he brokers or is it a case of Chinese whispers.

I would be able to accept that he gets a percentage of what he brokers on a sliding scale with regards to the amount each sponsor pays (Alick Jeffery jnr style).

The thing is though if the fans trust took over im 100% per cent certain that any sponsorship or money brought in by the trust, ALL of it would go to the club. The certain individual brokering wouldnt get a %age or be paid so why should other people do this?

simple people like Winters could bring sponsorship running into 1,000's with his connections, where as the run of the mill person (including myself) would be lucky to get £1,000 a time sponsors.

My point is that if he is doing it for the love of the club he wouldnt take a percentage. If the supporters take the club on and I was on the board for example, the only income i would recieve would be from my employer NOT from the rugby club.I dont see why he should be any different.
