What I find amazing is that a team with traditionally a smaller supporter base than us, who struggle to attract crowds can assemble a good team in NL1. without the need to go overboard and become bankrupt. They have done this for years and can consitantly put out a decent side.
I would have a guess at the likes of Yere at the Eagles are being paid less than some of our players from last year by someway.
I may not like the Eagles in terms of being our local rivals, but they have done something we cannot at the Dons. They have become financially stable without a sugar daddy and putting out a good side on the pitch. As well as attracting quality players from the world cup. WE sign students from Uni or loan players from Leeds.
We always seem to get newbies or people who fancy having a go for a bit rather than anyone who will stick with the club for any lenght of time or has any experience of running a RL club on a sensible budget.
We need some more experienced players onboard soon otherwise the young kids will start to give up and the dwindling supporters will continue to dwindle further.
