Heard it last night on breaking news.

Really sad and you cannot imagine how much he had been on his mind.

After his excellent and honest interview a few weeks ago in the papers this comes as a massive shock.

Thoughts go out to his fmaily and friends..

Was out yesterday and only picked up on this late in the day. Very sad indeed. The sort of guy who polarised opinions when on the pitch, it seems that he hadn't come to terms with life without RL.

I didn't hear the news until I was driving home from Wellingborough last night, and whilst, as many people have put, he polarised opinions, at the same time, I respected him as a player. I find it more upsetting that he felt he had nowhere to turn other than taking the course of action that he eventually took.

Yes ... if ever someone needed help in his hour of need..

And who knows what is around the next corner?
