I saw some positives....but to only get one try in a game is pretty poor....
Ben Johnston had the footwork for the try but apart from that we were pretty clueless in terms of attacking structures and plays, relying on Tali, as we do, to try to try to barge over.
Corion never gets the ball thanks to Tali.
Some tatty defence near our line, the last try was a joke, their winger was allowed to go back and pick a loose pass up, turn and attack again, when he should have been pounced on.
Horne is a joke with his uttering, last week it was..."we spoke about Hurricanes coming out full of energy!"
Well did you now!?
This week they probably talked about.."the big Keighley forwards and to not let them get near our try line!"
Mr cliche...RH
We looked disciplined though, which was nice to see and keen too...just not very structured or exciting in attack.
Some of our lads look quite raw and in need of game time and will get better maybe.
Anyway...a proper test against Swinton at home will give us a better idea of if we have the necessary firepower.
After all...we were competing at 4-0 right up until just short of half time at Keighley before getting found out.
