Another less DR option for us unless we’re going to sign him full time. The statement is on the short side though. Could something have happened for them to suddenly terminate his contract

It does sound like that, you'd expect it to say "mutual consent" or similar if it had been a more ammicable split

That used to happen quite regularly, full time sport isn't for everyone, particularly if they can earn more and for longer outside the sport.

Would love to see him here, although I think we have more pressing positions that need filling

It seemed rather strange that he was in our 19-man squad at the weekend but wasn't selected. I wonder if there's a link between this and his release from Hull?

He certainly add some quality to our pack should we be able to sign him.

Pity, showed up well for us.

Would have liked to have seen him sign for us but presumably our injured second rowers must be in line for a return soon, together with the money & travelling situation if he’s an Oldham lad.

Another one who will have a blinder when we play Oldham!!

Gave his all when he played for us. Can’t ask for more than that. Good luck at Oldham.
