After a break for the Challenge Cup Final, the next two games will decide where the Dons finish the regular season. My forecast would be fifth, though to ensure that I feel that this needs to be a home win.

Tom Halliday is available for selection although doubts remain over Matty Beharrell (unavailable at Oldham) and Rangi Chase (injured at Oldham).

If Hunslet beat Workington this weekend (at Hunslet), we can't catch Hunslet. If we beat Keighley, Workington can't catch us if they lose to Hunslet.

So, do we want to twist or stick?

Do we want to risk our 5th place spot by hoping Worky win at Hunslet giving us a chance of catching Hunslet, or do we want to stick and hope Hunslet win that game so Worky can't catch us?

Whichever way we look at it, we certainly need two points against Keighley!

In the play-offs, 5th is at home to 6th. The loser is eliminated.

Team 4 is away at Team 3. The losers gets a second chance at home to the winner of 5 v 6.

Looks like Wilkinson will be playing. On that basis I'd have to say Hodgson SHOULD be the man to miss out.

Just three more possible games to go for me, but probably two.
Today vs Keighley, at home to Worky in the playoffs and the final away, should we get there.
Then I will not attend next year, if we are stuck in this division pretending we are any good again, any games were we aren't top of the league.
So that is probably ... none.

That's more than me. I'm going today one last time to remind myself why I'm not bothering going forward and that's it. This is a decision I've been coming to for a long while, I'm guessing I'm not unlike yourself in that regard.
