Disappointing news that he has been released from his contract. Always thought he was a good player.

I have to say I'm shocked but obviously we don't know the reasoning behind this decision. Fantastic player who didn't have the best of luck injury-wise. Will be missed.

A very underrated player very sorry to see him leave, always gave 100% for his home town club.

Very sad to see him go.

I can't see him asking for a release after being left out of the side for one game so it maybe a case of personal circumstances changing.

Very surprising news indeed. I wonder if it's injury-related as the poor lad hasn't had the best of luck.

Always gave 100% and will be missed.
