It was the first time this season there'd been any "handbags" and I was happy with the response. Backed each other up and came out the other side responding with bigs hits. We need to start Sunday the way we finished yesterday.
After every game I just thinking back to the odd key moment or two that seemed to go against us and take the game out of our hands, surely that has got to change soon!
I still feel a win is not far off, and the key to that win will be creating tries when we start within their 20, rather than scoring all long distant efforts
Thought the best try of the evening was Ellerys, given that there was no way that Danny Stanley should have been allowed to offload that close to the tryline.
In my opinion, there are far more positives to take from the game than negatives, our defensive effort at times was truly outstanding, and we only let tries in in the last 10 minutes because that effort had taken so much out of us.
If we can manage to keep that sort of effort up for a full game, and couple it with the likes of Bovill, Leaf and Steen returning to the team, then we will win more games than we will lose.
I felt a lot better after watching last nights performance, than I did after the South Wales game, there appears to be some light at the end of the tunnel now.
