As I recall, having seen both, Gaz's kick was a measured one that any half back would have been proud of, not at all an up and under.
I can remember getting to my feet and singing something inane about his silky skills. He was an half back trapped inside a fat man's body.

John Desmond lending us a bus to take the Dunscroft supporters to Carlisle, when it turned up it was a builders crew bus with two wooden benches either side.
Not the most comfortable of rides.

The pitch invasion at the end of the semi at Batley after another classic match mobbing Ellery Hanley.

Stopping the team coach at London Skolars cos they wouldnt stop for a drink with us!

Watching Dons v Swinton (away at Swinton) in torrential rain, you could hardly see across the pitch.. the players made a tidal wave when they went over for a try Good win for Donny though, so went home soaked to the skin but happy

Apart from the wins at Batley in the promotion season & Saints the following season, what about the 30-0 win at HKR .

the win at widnes (when miller took out crowthers) was pretty special.
