I think with the lack of Super League sides buying in to the A team competition for next season it could be a godsend for The Dons.

Hull have recruited heavily in the closed season and look to have gone for quantity over quality with a number of surprising acquisitions.

Hakim, Harris and Litten look well down the pecking order given there squad numbers and with 37 first team players to keep fit and game ready it looks nailed on that three or four players will be available every week.

That last paragraph IMO is more or less on the money and given the relationship between the two clubs which appears to really good I hope you are correct. I find it hard to imagine Hull experiencing an injury tsunami again for next season.

Ok. I accept all of the above but I really don't think we can rely on a couple of things. As SOish states we've not enough beef. DR won't address this. It tends to be fringe backs generally. We are already anticipating Miloudi, Harris and Litten being available. That in my opinion is not where we should be looking to strengthen.

Over on Facebook it seems that our first game is away at Newcastle.
And they are delighted ... our posters I mean.
I'm not ... I should think Newcastle might be ... what's to worry about with this Dons outfit thus far?
Can see us being third best again!

I think third best is optimistic given our opponents have strengthened whereas we have lost a chunk of our squad and not replaced it also I am not convinced what we have replaced is better than what we have lost. In summation the glaring hole from last season's squad is still there and we have lost a lot of our cover in other areas. But oh we are totally going for promotion. What a load of tosh.

It is bad form .. mustn't even voice concerns.
Instead we have to play the 'pick a cliche game'.
It's lots of fun and they play it on Facebook.
I will start ...
'It is not where you start, it is where you finish'.
So now... let me see ... according to this cliche we have to wait well into next season or even all of it to see if we finish top and get promoted.
So taking this approach to last season meant we found we were not good enough.
We could have started with a stronger team or maybe quickly strengthened ... but that would have been pessimistic... surely promotion was just a matter of turning up (and seeing what happened)?
So let's roll another cliche out ... 'fail to plan and you plan to fail.
But mustn't moan ... oh no ... must shut up and go away.
Carl will see us right apparently ... presumably while he is pulling his hair out over lack of season ticket sales.

I'll say the same as I say on there, talk about what you want, if people don;t agree they need to convince you otherwise and vice versa.

The worst thing on both here and there is people telling how they are allowed to post. I don;t see you as moaning, rather expressing your legitimate concerns
