His second try as well as being great to watch came at a vital time to put the difference back to a three try margin. Otherwise we were on the rack....
Will be coming along this sunday to watch again instead of watching wakey v Leigh. He's been doing most of his work in donny's own half, made 120m last week averaging 15m a carry, not bad for a back running it out of your own 20, seen little ball come out to the left edge in attack, but hopefully get to bag some more tries this weekend against a slightly weaker opposition.
Another solid performance and another try making it 4 tries in 4 games. Just wish he could get some early ball when in the oppositions half, him and Tali were devastating when running in some space yesterday, don't just use him as a battering ram to get you out of your own 20 at the beginning of a set
There did seem to be noticeably quite a number of occasions yesterday when Greensmith or Halliday were taking the early carries in our set, even before the injuries to the forwards
I think it was obvious yesterday Ollie is a centre not a winger. Prior to actually scoring he played far too close to Tali when he broke through giving very little chance of a meaningful pass. I'm not criticizing him, just a lack of experience in the position. Great player and he'll keep learning.
