Dons twitter put the FT score as 22-20 at 4.44 (the 'tweet' is still visible) hence my post.

I note they have subsequently 'tweeted' at 5.16 that it was in fact 24-20.

That goal kick was obviously following a lengthy delay (only joking).

Well... what an exciting game! There were both positives and negatives for both sides to take away from this game.

The Workington left edge caused us huge problems when then went forward but for the most part the Dons had the best of the possession and edged it in the forwards. Connor Robinson looked good with ball in hand and with the boot.

Had Workington run the ball into the corner on the sixth tackle in the 79th minute, instead of kicking through, we wouldn't have won... but what a great length of the field run from Tom Halliday!

Our forwards seem to be coping with the demands better this season. We still seem vulnerable to teams with a bit of pace on the edges though.

Who will we get in the next round? Hopefully, a money-spinner that might bring in a few quid... preferably at home. The draw in on Wednesday at 6pm, live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC sport website.

There are no new teams entering in the next round... there are no new teams entering in the round afterwards!

16 teams are in the next round, the 8 winners are then reduced to 4 before the Super league teams come in. In effect, we have to win two more games before we might play a Super League team.

The 16 teams in the draw on Wednesday are:

Newcastle, N Wales, Batley, Dewsbury, Eagles, Barrow, Bradford, Dons, Halifax, Keighley, York, London Broncos, Widnes, Midlands plus two amateur teams: Rochdale Mayfield and Hunslet ARLFC.
