Lost 16-10 to Lindley in a game that could have gone either way,a loss of discipline and some poor decision making in the final quarter proving decisive.
A welcome away win at Brotherton 14-6 last Saturday,not a good game to be fair, the h/lights probably a hat trick by Gaz Carey and Matt Brandham having to play centre for most of the 2nd half. There is no game this w/e but we are at Wyke the week after ,which i will miss as i am sampling the delights of Berlin
Not a happy day last Saturday for the 1st Team losing away 32-6 at Boothtown(Hx) and Karl Taylor going off after 2 minutes with a suspected broken ankle.
This w/e we are away Stainland Stags in the cup,another tough game
A belated comment on last w/e game at Stainland,although losing 28-4 this did not tell the whole story. The team travelled with 14 players due to injuries/work, lost Gavin Millward with a mouth injury just after h/t and saw out the last 10 mins with 12 as Tom Holt went off with a shoulder injury. Well done to all the players,obviously no Home game because of the weather lets hope it improves for next week
A great win 42-22 v Emley Moor and i missed it,no home game since 17 Nov then 2 on the trot.This Sat at Home v Wyke k/o 2-30 then 3 away games typical not impressed
