I was going to leave at half-time because we were so inept....but I persevered.
We got back to 18-28 and were in the game.
So what happened next?
A simple kick off by Blackpool was met, not with someone getting to the pitch of the ball, but the dull foot of someone so badly attuned to the needs of the situation that he let the ball bounce a good 15 metres forward off his foot to a grateful Blackpool player and a try came as a result...
