Dons 20 v Keighley 24, a game we deserved to & should have won . Gave away a few silly penalties . I think the injury to Butterfied was crucial, we were well on top at that stage.

The two tries just after half time were the killer imo.
Both should have been avoided.
Listened to Jason Demi? on radio Leeds after the game and he gave a very honest assessment of the game, said that they stole the match from us after we out played them all game, also he said the thing that shocked him most was that we out muscled them, something that no other side has done.

Gutted, as we should have won, but well done boys.

You deserved to win that today. I thought we made a lot of errors and had poor discipline.

That said I was impressed by your supposedly s***e pack, best set of forwards we've played against in the league so far this season.

As one poster said JD admitted we stole the game, but compared to previous seasons we play bad or outplayed we got a win whilst of no comfort to Donny fans I am happy. A good win on bookies today I bet cougars to win and Whitehaven to draw and no I did not get tips from Shaun Leaf:) To top it all off bulls got hammered again.

Losers lose ... winners win.

I thought it was just the Japanese that committed Hara Kiri.

Someone needs to take a good hard look at themselves because we have lost six on the trot and at Workington that will be seven on the trot... oh yes quaranteed.

If anything should happen to befall Adam Scott we'd have NO forward power.

That game was thrown away!!!
Goodnight!!!!

Where was Grant Edwards???

I'm close ... very close.....

That was a seminal game that would have kick-started our season, but instead confined us to the dustbin.

My thoughts ...

Not a big enough lead built up when we had most of the territory and possession in the first half left us still needing to score first in the second half against a team unlikely to play as poor in the second 40 minutes as they did in the first.

A very poor try given away from an attacking position to let them get back to 14-10.

But having recovered from 16-14 down to lead 20-16, an inability to see out the game which should have been won. The defensive shape was cruelly exposed for their match winning try 3 minutes from the end.

Keighley were ordinary full stop... we never came out in the second half, and showed them what p/ss poor was..
Everthing they got we gave them.
Shocking!

Same as last year then...cant really beat anyone other than Gateshead and London...and SW at home......how long can the Dons use the excuse we are living within our means....yes no one wants boom and bust again...but plenty of other sides manage to do ok on less than 1,000 crowds

I really don't know how much longer Tony Miller can last...that's how i've felt for 2 years now..maybe someone can make a case for him...but before you do....ask is it possible to do any worse...it's difficult too
