Just had a look on the Sun Website at the story and at the end there is a video of Shaun in the bookies but there is nothing in that video which suggests that he placed that bet. In an undercover operation we first interviewed Leaf and then followed him into a betting shop in Knottingley

Thats what I think as well. I know what he has done is wrong but it was a 200 quid bet which would win him about 180 quid(Wanderer will correct me on this). Its not exactly thousands of pounds is it, and this made the front page of a national!

Also it will be very interesting to find out who he was speaking to?

Regarding the said Toulouse game, if anyone wants to go on my facebook photos you will see a picture of Leafy taken on the pitch about a minute after the final siren.It hardly looks like hes lost a fortune there and you cant question whether he backed out of any tackles etc looking at the state of his face!!

Shaun has been very stupid , he would be the last person I thought would place alleged bets against his club !
