Hedges at 6 wouldn't work. Although he started here as a halfback he has put a fair bit of weight on him and he wouldn't have the mobility and stamina required for the job of stand-off. He's more a hooker/loose forward nowadays.
For me Hakim works as a halfback as he can get involved in a more structured way. At fullback he just wants to go the full length on his own and that is just too unpredictable and was a major reason why we lost last week.

Hedges is now a quality 13 and we shouldn’t shift that so I’d rather see hakim at 6 as long as he isn’t too bonkers!

I'm hopeful that if we get our act together we can win this game. I've still got bad memories of how Workington beat us up in the promotion game at the end of last season but I think we're better prepared upfront to deal with them this time.

I was somewhat worried by our lack of a cutting edge out wide last weekend against Hunslet. We'll need to improve in that area but if we stay disciplined I don't see why we shouldn't have every chance of winning today.
