If the Catalans get on top early with quick play the balls we could be looking at a long day.

Much will depend on the Catalans' attitude. When they're 'switched on' they can beat any Super League team. When they're on a 'non-going day' they can be very average to say the least. They tend to have most of their 'non-going days' when on the road though.

I hope the players enjoy the experience. It's a great day for them.

From the fans point of view, I'm finding it hard to get excited. I feel it's a game we need to get out of the way without suffering any more injuries.

If we're going to keep our promotions hopes alive, we can't afford to lose to London Skolars next weekend.

We've then got an easy game against W Wales to follow but that's the start of three games in 8 days with W Wales on Sunday, Oldham away on the Wednesday (in the 1895 cup), and Oldham at home in the league on the following Sunday. Hunslet away follows that.

Assuming we'll beat W Wales, how many of the other three league games, Skolars (a), Oldham (h) and Hunslet (a) could we afford to lose?

Winning all three will be tough but possible. As there's not much between the Dons and the other three sides ability-wise, we might lose all three as well.

The Challenge Cup and the 1895 Cup are distractions we could perhaps do without.
