For a bunch of 'strangers' allegedly they looked very organised (Chase still can boss a game) and a typical Thornton 'professional' game plan. The Ben Johnston factor was really missing today.

Thought the ref was very keen on any high stuff and for that I applaud him but to fail to penalise properly the assault on Boas's head and neck area in the second half when he was tackled in our half was very poor. It was deliberate and it should have warranted a card.

I enjoyed today's game. It was good to hear the Dons fans getting behind the team.

Our most potent threat is Jason Tali. Whilst I think we've got a chance against Keighley, I reckon Rhys Lovegrove will make sure Tali is stopped. We need Ben Johnston back to create some threats.

We've got to safely navigate our way round the Midlands game next week first.

I was slightly puzzled why Leon Ruan had so little game time today...

Perhaps training with the Rhinos had tired him out!
