That's if you can get into the Yorkshire Terrier. My front from is nearly bigger than the Yorkshire Terrier. Mind you the York Brewery isn't that big itself.
Its John Smiths all the way for me.Lagers too gassy and like supping fizzy watter.Im ok with some real ales though. The last good un I had was in York a couple of months ago in a boozer that made its own.Correct me if im wrong but I think its called Yorkshire Terrier?
Now you're talking! John Smith's Tasteless, sorry Smooth, is beer for the lager drinker, no more no less ; cold, pasteurised and dead. Yorkshire Terrier on the other hand is a well-rounded premium bitter. Good arrer!

Try the Three Legged Mare in that case, or the Wonky Donkey to the locals Excellent beers and well kept.
Worth a visit if you're going to Rochdale tomorrow ...
The Cemetery Public House. 470 Bury Road, Spotland, Rochdale OL11 5EU. Open Mon-Sat from 12noon - 11.00pm and on Sunday from noon till 10.30pm. Several real ales offered including Timothy Taylors and guest ales.
You pass it on the way to the ground if you come off the M62 at Junction 20 (it's on the junction of Roch Valley Way, Bury Road and Sandy Lane).
Please note: It seems that this place has gone down-hill in that the owners only open when they feel like it. On Wednesday it should have opened at 5pm but when we called just before 7pm, we eventually got told by some locals that it wasn't opening at all that night!
Clearly, I don't recommend wasting time calling here in future!

We ended up in Weatherspoons, an old picture house (the name escapes me at the moment) A couple of nice beers in there (subsidised by the fact we won a fiver on the quiz machine....well £3.00 profit to be honest). Somethng loke 'Old witches Brew' or something, im sure SO will remember better then i.
