What a mixed bag that was.
Thank goodness we won.
Positives... we came out well in the second half and played some rugby ... well until a couple of brainfarts stopped the momentum.
We are top of this division without actually having the clout and credentials.
So I think a few cracks have been papered over.
We had NOTHING going forward in the first half.
Our discipline albeit under pressure was and is SHOCKING.
Is RH the first blind coach in professional RL?
Can he not see the problems?
Keswick and Owen should hang their heads in shame giving penalties away whilst in possession.
WTF?
We need a stand-off and that is Miloudi in the absence of Howden .. yet he was played at fullback.
Horne is an idiot!
Enough!
You mean the idiot who has you top of the division and playing the best rugby seen at the club since Paul Cooke was there.
its very early season and Horne is still looking at utilising and rotating the squad he has available until he finds his best 17.
Without doubt he will make changes when playing weaker teams in the division and play more of the loan/D/R players when available against the stronger teams.
Hull FC have a mini injury crisis at the moment so the likes of Lane,Downs,Turgut and Logan are not available to you but will be later in the season.
I have said you still need another big front row but if funds are not available to Horne he has to work with what he has and is doing a good job.
Whether you like or dislike the Hull Loans/D/R its the only way you will get out of this division.
You and other posters on here would have a lot more to moan about if you didnt have the Hull connection.
