Oldham were made to play bad, they threw a lot in the first 20 minutes then tried too hard from then on and we stiffled everything. Langtree has a stinker, again probably trying too hard and forgetting the basics.

What i like about Boas is he always about making himself available and supporting, and his all round game is also good. He would have scored the first try if Cameron Scott had passed on his inside on that break, Boas was on his left backside. On that occasion we were lucky the kick through fell for us.
There is a photo in the Free Press of Boas breaking clear of the Oldham defence. His right bootlace is flapping in the wind ... the try that may never have been ...
