I can see Hull having a big say in our plans for this season , I can see Harris spending the season with us along with one or two more.

We have a very small squad and Hull have a large squad, having requited for the reserves competition.
I think this is the reason our playing squad is so light, it makes sense for us to use their fringe lads as they will be well known to the coach

Well yeah ... that is what is happening in reality.
I would love to have such as Harris and Miloudi for the bulk of the season.
But in the absence of any information on names, things look very 'light'.
No use banging on ... we will be playing in a few weeks.
Three weeks on Sunday ... not that I am counting!

Given that the reserves comp will now probably be a game every three weeks Hull will want to rotate and play several of the fringe forwards with Doncaster particularly when both Green and Bowden are fully fit.
I can see Harris,Logan Cameron Scott, Sanderson and Miloudi also spending a lot of time next season playing at Doncaster.
Hull also have a Fiji RU wing on trial at the moment,good build and plenty of speed.If he impresses we wont be able to play him as we dont have the quota space.
Dont know the rules but wondering whether if we sign him he could play 2019 at Doncaster.
Loans and D/R from Hull i realise is not ideal but you will have next season the strongest side you have had for many years.

That all looks good on paper, until what happened last season repeats it self. Get down to the crunch play off games when we really needed the magic of maloudi etc and Hull who had nothing to play for decided it would be better if they stayed at Hull... this model of relying on DR doesn’t work, hence why we’re still in league one

If your club wont spend or havnt the money to spend on recruiting players then you cant blame Hull Fc for being in League 1.
I agree the D/R system is flawed but if it gets you out of League 1 then thats good for both clubs.

For me it is not a case of blaming Hull, it is as you say the club either can't or won't spend. If its won't then we want to know why and if it is can't we would rather the club be honest than give us false hope.

While the Hull players can be a help, ultimately they are Hull players first and foremost so they cannot be relied on. If we wish to be successful we need our own squad of players capable of competing and the Hull players can be a nice little extra something as and when.

Also as there are limits imposed on the number of loan/dual reg players that can play at once Hull's large squad will not entirely solve our squad size issues if injuries hit the Donny players.

I’m not blaming Hull for being in league 1. Our board have said that they have provided a bigger budget for next season... if we haven’t got the money then they need to be honest with the fans but saying we have a bigger budget and the aim is promotion and then not signing anyone is strange. We start playing in a couple of weeks and only have 18 players of our own.
