Couldn't agree more. In all honesty of the four games Keighley was the least likely win given our lack of game time and their superstar signings.
We've gone about our business early and intelligently. We made our big signings last year (Boas, Peltier and I would say Smeaton).
Really all we needed to do was augment that. The two year long signings look a great bit of business. The young forwards look quality.
The one thing that really amused me from the commentators today was when they referred to Misi. They expected him to be a try scoring threat every time he touched the ball.
Cumbrian commentators have so little knowledge of the opposition it's laughable. Anyway. Well done lads

Annoys me that I as just a common or garden fan knew something about every single player in their 17 but paid commentators couldn't tell the difference between Watson Boas and Jason Tali. "Boas is huge!"". No. He really isn't

Yes I thought that bit was odd.

I've done a bit of commentary/reporting before and as an absolute minimum you learn the names of each teams 1,6,7 and 9.

I suppose any live radio coverage is better than the coverage we get from our local stations.

Point taken about today's commentators having little knowledge. Did one of the commentators go and ask one of the Workington fans where one of their players was from?

This from David M on TRL Workington site, who IMO is no nuggett when it comes to all things Worky.

In the first half when they were pinning us back after five drives and a good kick it was noticable how limited our yardage was when we were bringing it back , and they were just winning the battle of territory over n over .

Now I understand posters on here when they say we have been lacking in the forwards, but this comment for me speaks volumes regarding our middles yesterday. Perhaps we may just have a bunch of forwards. Together with the same poster who paid homage to Matty for running the show.

Maybe we just quietly have a side.
