That doesn't leave many names in the hat to be honest. I assumed it was Rooney until Chunskter rubbed it out, the only other name I have is Cooke or Long. I'm going for the more local option of Cooke

The player in question has been offered a deal by a super league club for 2012 season but wants to come to us

Nothing about this on workington's site and its not exactly something you'd keep under your hat is it? besides they signed peter lupton and resigned that stack bloke of theirs so find it hard to imagine them getting them both although I admit it would be scary for us if they did.

That news ticks a few more of my boxes!

I was having a spin around the Super League websites yesterday to see if I could find any possible alternatives to Paul Cooke. I was struggling to come up with anyone who might realistically want to come to the Dons. I found a couple who might unrealistically want to come!

After Chunskster's news, the situation looks even more encouraging. If a guy is prepared to make such a sacrifice to play for the mighty Dons we really should be prepared to back him.

Round up all Doncaster residents for Tuesday's meeting!
