So if the seagulls had beaten us at home they would have had 3 points more and would have won the league instead of Barrow. Is that our success for this crappy season? Or did they get the 3 points back because the points were taken back from us?

No they wouldn't....they would have got 2 points more.
They lost by one point and gained a bonus point in that game.
They would have been level with Barrow but second on points difference.
