However, I think if we didn't know the name of the team we were playing, we might do better ... if you see what I mean.
I know this is not possible in reality, but I think we win against teams we think we will beat, even though in the case of London this was quite an achievement, and we lose against sides who we think we will lose against.
Take tomorrow, I think that we will lose, only because we will think that we on balance should lose away at Rochdale.
That is no way to think. We can beat Rochdale away. I know we beat them in some tinpot competition at their patch earlier, but tomorrow matters and it will be different. They then beat us at our own patch comprehensively and will rip into us.
The only way we will win is if we think that we will (not can ... WILL) win, combined with a team spirit that says ''we are the class team here, we are organised, we will fight for each other and win.''
Rochdale would soon get the message and fold.
Otherwise they will rip us to bits.
