In tomorrows (Saturday) Hull Daily Mail Shaun gives his first interview one year on from the Sun setup or should that be scoop regards the betting scandal which should make interesting reading.

I have known Shaun for a couple of years now and think he is a genuine top bloke who I know is annoyed (understatement!) with what has happened to him over the last year and I hope he puts his side of the story across well tomorrow because I am sure there will be plenty of outside observers ready to judge.

I could be wrong, but isn't Shaun's RL ban complete tomorrow?

I believe that it was an 18-month ban from the start of the 'provisional' ban which came into force on 12 May 2011.

I for one would welcome him back should he be offered a deal, a utility player who could cover a few positions in the backs and forwards, I hope the club shows the same loyalty to him as he has shown us over the years
