I do think our misgivings may well come true DM regarding the Hull lads and the run in for the Dons. I really cannot see us having their services now. Its a shame but they are Hull players and they really do need game time in SL. Well done to them and well done to RH for his part in their development.
I think you're right, Moonshine. The 'big games' for us are the Workington game and the play offs. That's when we're likely to need to Hull lads the most. Hopefully, Richard Horne might be able to sell the idea of 'coping with big game pressure' as a reason why the Hull lads need to come to us for those matches instead of getting some more Super League experience. I suppose it also depends on the injury situation at Hull and whether more established Hull players will be left out because they're going on the Transfer List.
It must also be in Hull's best interest for us to get promoted if the DR relationship is going to continue. They would surely prefer their developing players to get experience in the Championship rather than Championship One but the dynamics of it all could be different next season with Hull having a second team.
