Jordie Hedges Sending Off

Jordie is up before the RFL disciplinery for his recent sending off.

The charge details: Rule – 15.1(d) Detail – Lifting player into dangerous position Grade – C
Incident: Dangerous Throw in the 27th minute
Range of Recommended Sanctions in relation to Charged Grade: 3 Match Penalty Notice

He's been found guilty of this offence on two previous occasions: 19th July 2016 and 19th February 2017.

If found guilty, I can't see him getting less than three matches. That would mean he'd miss the Workington game, the play-off semi-final final and the play-off final. He would be available for the Million Pence game if we're playing in it.

Jordie's been a much improved player this season and I'm disappointed for both him and us that he might miss these important games.

The RFL don't list the date of the hearing but I expect it'll be heard this week. Non-Super League hearings are generally 10 days or so after the offence.

hope he gets away with one or two matches, I too think hes improved a lot this season,,, what did the Newcastle player who punched Connor Scott twice in front of the ref, get as a punishment?? looking forward to todays game I think we will be far to good for NWC, COYDs.

Don't tempt fate ... not that there is such a thing.

He got a two match ban.

He got a five game ban in 2013 for fighting but had been squeaky clean every since.

3 match ban unless appealed.

Really disappointed for him.

I don't think it's worth appealing against the ban as this was the recommended sanction.

He'll be available for the Million Pence game if we're in it.

I really feel for Jordie as I think he's been great this year. He's worked really hard on his game and improved no end. It's sad that he going to miss these crucial games.
